The Faíscas collection arises from the need to build a bridge between the past and the present of the history of Galicia, recovering traditional furniture models and updating them in contemporary forms.
This dynamic revives archetypes that are surprisingly adaptable to today’s world and that, while rescuing the logic of our ancestors, are close to us because of their informal and relaxed design.
The textile elements broaden the possibilities for play, accentuate contrasts and instil fashion into objects with origins dating back hundreds of years.

GALICIAN FURNITURE

Fieldwork in rural Galicia and research into the few books and magazines available on the subject have allowed us to become familiar with a type of furniture that, in our opinion, still has much to offer if we adapt it to present days.

For this reason, by trying to avoid the weightness, both physical and emotional, that many people associate with traditional furniture, we put design and creativity to work to produce furniture that, without straying far from its roots, has a playful, relaxed and cheerful air.
