at the “alma rural 2021” event
On October 16, 2021, the Pazo de Cores will host the “Alma rural 2021” event, organised by the Galician Government’s Departments of Equality and Countryside to commemorate the International Day of Rural Women.
The event centres on several talks and round tables featuring women from a wide range of sectors. It is designed to be a platform for exchanging opinions about the potentiality of women and the Galician countryside.

In this regard, Xema Varela, the founding partner of Bela Furtiva, has been invited to give an inspirational talk in which she will relate the company’s history from a more humane and personal perspective. She will thereby reveal the more intimate motivations that guided her first decisions.
Here is a look ahead at her presentation: “According to a Japanese legend, there are people that are joined together from birth by a red thread…” You can listen to the complete talk by viewing the video.
